Welcome to the official website of Student Respect, the student wing of the Respect Party.

Respect came into existence to stop war and promote peace, fight racism and Islamophobia and to struggle for justice at home and abroad.

Student Respect campaigns for:

  • Free education for all – investment not cuts - bail out students, not bankers
  • An end to all racism and discrimination - no to the fascist BNP - stop Islamophobia
  • An end to stop and search - defend civil liberties
  • One Society Many Cultures! Celebrate diversity – defend multi-culturalism
  • Justice for Palestine - lift the siege of Gaza - end the illegal occupation – VIVA PALESTINA!
  • Opposing war and imperialism – Troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan
  • Socialism in the twenty-first century – supporting social progress in Venezuela and Latin America
  • Action on climate change

    • In East London and Birmingham, elected Respect representatives are working to defend their communities from the brutal onslaught of recession, unemployment and inequality.

    If like us you can see that the mainstream parties aren't interested in supporting ordinary people, and you want to stand with others who believe in justice, equality and peace, then you need Respect.
